Chom Phon is the area located next to Chan Kasem and the property developments in the area are much the same expect a bit more expensive. You can look at property developments in Chatuchak as well as property developments in Chan Kasem as you will note that they located close to each other but each caters to either a higher or lower clientele. Metris is a property development close to the LadProa MRT subway system and these have ranged from 4,000,000 THB for 30 Sqm which is 130,000 THB per Sqm which is on the low end but close to mass transit at Lad Proa station. Ladprao 18 is a large development with 2 bedroom units going for 8,000,000 THB for 49 Sqm which works out to about 160,000 THB per square meter.
With further extensions to the BTS and MRT in the are the property will more likely than not increase in value. You will need to speak to an investment advisor if you are looking for investment property of holiday home type property. Wachirabenchatat Park which is a large public [ark in Bangkok is very close which is ideal for children. The Securities and Exchange Commission is also in the area and there are many malls in the district.
